Bill Nichelson was born and raised in Girard, Illinois. He is a 1989 graduate of Girard High School and a 1993 graduate of Millikin University. In 1996, he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

Mr. Nichelson began practicing law in 1996 and has been in private practice since that time. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Nichelson served as a 711 intern for the Macoupin County State’s Attorney’s Office, and he was employed as a contractual attorney for the State’s Attorney Appellate Prosecutor Office in Springfield, Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Macoupin County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois as well as the United States District Courts of Central and Southern Illinois. He has lectured on various estate planning, probate and elder law topics, and has had work published by the National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services.

Because he was raised in a small town, Mr. Nichelson and his staff, understand and appreciate the value of customer service. All of Mr. Nichelson’s clients are important to him, and he strives to develop a personal and trusting relationship with each one.
